HEALING SUNSETS

I have always been at peace watching the sunset and the sunrise. I get lost in the awe and beauty of our world. For me it is almost meditative and healing in nature.

This was a sunset from my holiday with my family last year in the Maldives. A time I will treasure forever, a time pre COVID 19 when we were free to explore our world.

For me the sun setting symbolises letting go of negative emotions or stress, the end of a day, forgiving oneself, and extreme gratitude.

The sun rising shines new light, new beginnings, renewed love, renewed hope for your day. It reminds us to breathe.

No matter how painful, tiring or difficult the previous day was, this day is a new beginning.
No matter how many mistakes you may have made, forgive yourself, be gentle on yourself and try again.
Today can be a day closer to your goals, a day to try again, a day closer to perfect health.

Try commit to doing something positive for your body and soul today even if it is just one thing.

– try move a little more
– try include even one more healthy food in your diet, or one less unhealthy food
– try forgive yourself or someone
– try spend a little less time on your phone – try listen to a loved one and spend more time with your loved ones
– try stop to breathe
– try show appreciation and gratitude for at least 3 blessings in your life and write them down or think about them in your mind
– try to say thank you to yourself and people around you, do this consciously
– try smile a little more and see the response around you
– try appreciate at least one thing in nature and give thanks for this

Have a beautiful day everyone.

Love and light to you all

Tessa
